Cemeteries should be more than places where stones lie on the ground. Cemeteries hold the stories of the people who have lived in the past … people who have shaped our past –Audrey Bierhans

This is so true for St. John’s Church members, who gather year on year at the Kalpally Cemetery on All Saints Day to honour the saints, especially their loved ones, who have gone before us, and contemplate our existence in this world. Amidst the serene atmosphere, and greenery, and the poignant memories of loved ones, members attend a touching service that included lighting of candles.  In this tranquil and peaceful surroundings, members also remember Christians through the centuries who lived their lives faithfully in service of our Lord and Saviour.
