Caregivers Group

The Caregivers Ministry is a group of members who love to reach out to the homebound, aged, sick, grieving, lonely and terminally ill members of St. John’s Church.   This ministry has been established to help and support the Pastors, and interface with all Fellowships and Groups of the Church.

The members of the Caregivers’ Ministry visit homes or hospitals and offer spiritual and loving care support, comfort and reassurance, a listening ear and a smile. As we strive to support the sick and their family members, this Ministry is not a home care agency.

So what makes you a dedicated caregiver?

  • Time to visit at least once a week
  • Inclination to help
  • Understanding of what the person is going through
  • Patience
  • Compassion
  • Attentiveness
  • Dependability
  • Trustworthiness
